Christmas In July
Welcome to Team Stamp It’s Holiday Celebration! Are you already thinking about the holidays? It’s a great time to start thinking about making those personal cards to family and friends so you won’t be cramming everything into those jam-packed weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The simple design I created for this blog hop is reminiscent of George Bailey’s Bedford Falls, and the Silver Bells of New York City.
I knew I wanted to start with the lovely Bell Punch and the Seasonal Bells stamp set. The card came together when I started looking for “shiny” paper. I started with this idea of silver or gold foil in my head, but in looking through the Eastern Palace DSP, I saw starlight. So this card went in a totally different direction. I love the vintage feel.
To give it a little bling. I pulled out my Silver Embossing Powder to make my silver bells the focal point. However I couldn’t resist putting a little Wink of Stella on the branches for a little more sparkle. I hope you enjoyed your visit to my page.
