Welcome to Beyond the Pumpkin

I chose the February 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit “Many Happy Birthdays” to make this card.  I used the kit to make birthday cards for my students in my 2nd grade class.  But The life beyond the kit is amazing!  It’s great for masculine projects with Brother, Uncle, Dad, Father’s Day, Son and other great sentiments. This kit is still available in the Past Kits section of My Paper Pumpkin. The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack are fabulous.  Pared with the Country Livin’ boots and the New Jute Twine to give this a rustic feel. A combination Early Espresso and Cajun Craze gave the boots a weathered when applied with the Aqua Painter.

Of course I just love to add a little detail to the inside of the card, so I stamped the boots again in Old Olive just under the Happy Birthday (also from the Many Happy Birthdays Paper Pumpkin Kit).
