Welcome to Team Stamp It Christmas Holiday Blog Hop where it is always our favorite time of year! I sat down in my craft room this morning desperately needing to wash away the blahs of the crazy work week. Like Michelangelo’s sculptures, the card revealed itself to the moment I started to play in my favorite place. The more I created the more I relaxed. I hope that you find the same joy creating this as I did this morning.
I started with the Woodland TIEF and I used a Blender pen to color the trees in Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder. I liked the look (even the stray flakes of embossing powder as it looked like snow falling. I imagined myself sitting at my kitchen window with the snow gently falling outside. It hit me! I needed Hearth and Home to frame these beautiful trees.
I cut out the window in Cherry Cobbler and used Very Vanilla for the frame. For the ornaments I used Gold Glimmer paper and the framelits are adorable little gems in the Perfect Pines Framelits set.
The “Christmas Joy” comes from the Stitched with Cheer stamp set which coordinates perfectly with Bunch of Banners Framelits.
I hope you enjoy this card. Remember to post a comment at the bottom to enter into the drawing for the Stitched with Cheer Kit and stamps. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your holidays.
Enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop!

Great idea of using versa mark on the EF & then embossing the trees. Love the finished product.

Like the window frame to view — I may use this to show a tree and gifts to the “inside” instead of looking through to the “outside” trees view. #stampitcontest
