Adventure Awaits: Campology Meets Summer Nights Add-On
A Summer Nights Add-On card, creates a sunset adventure with Campology Stamp set, Night of Navy, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Suede, and Mossy Meadow color magic.. Inspired by the creative collective found on Pinterest, I used the gorgeous background to set the scene for a beautiful sunset. On Day 31 of Color Me Happy, I put together a card for my son Dan’s 26th birthday.
On the second time around… I had to make a duplicate, I didn’t photograph it for you all before I signed it and gave it to my son. Yeah, I know I make cards right before I head out the door… is that just me??? …anyway this time, I traded out the ‘Happy Birthday’ for ‘Adventure Awaits’ which is also part of the Campology Stamp Set. I also used Vellum Cardstock instead of a label from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit. BTW, Huge tip here… If you are not a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, you are missing out. Stampin’ Up! puts in so many extra elements that can be used in your everyday creating. You can find a link that is a doorway to amazing creative ideas here: Paper Pumpkin
In the video I started with Soft Suede around the tent using the Dauber. I experimented with Mossy Meadow in this version, then I moved on to Soft Suede, Blackberry Bliss, and Night of Navy. You might also notice that I put some Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy into some of the pine trees to give them more of that silhouette look against a night sky. I then toned down the coloring of the tree trunks using Night of Navy Light, Moonlight Mist Light, and Soft Suede Dark Blends. You can find links to all these products below. (Just a note: after August 4, 2020, Stampin’ Up! will be changing platforms for the online store. Please be sure that you find my name Gianna Melone-Sardella at the top or the bottom of your screen).
