Calm & Quiet a Picture of Summer
Calm & Quiet is what I am looking for this summer. I love the Host Stamp Set, I couldn’t wait to use a watercolor technique on this beautiful image! This is a reward stamp set that you can earn when you have a workshop order of $150 or more. Old, New, and used colors fill by palette as I explore the color refresh in the Annual Catalog (See the full list of stamp colors in the Shopping List) The Card base is Blueberry Bushel and the frame is from the Bright and Beautiful 6″x 6″ DSP paper stack. Because I love bling, I used the 2023-2025 In Color Dots which give a little sparkle, but not too much.
Long ago when I started with Stampin’ Up!, I thought when I finished the card front I was done. So often I found I didn’t want to send out a card because there was nothing on the inside. Now I can’t imagine finishing a card without completing the sentiment and image on the inside. The Calm & Quiet Stamp set has two images. This image has a couple of ploves next to what looks like sea grass. By cutting off the birds, It changes the image from a more beach look and bringing it back to the lake. I stamped it in Blueberry Bushel and colored with the blends.
