Stamp It Group: Fall Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to Fall and Back to School!

As a 2nd grade teacher (when I’m not crafting), Fall means back to school for me.  I decided to use the beautiful Country Lane DSP to create a simple project for all those teachers going back to school.  The Gift Bag Punch Board and the Envelope Punch Board are a staple in my craft room.  A gift bag is such a pretty way to send in those extra pencils for the teacher.  Believe me when I say your children are in love with the pencil sharpener.  The Gift Bag Punch Board is so easy to use and the directions are on the board so you don’t have to worry about forgetting.  The Envelope Punch Board is so versatile that you can make an envelope for a gift card (2″x 3″) up to an envelope for a 6″x  8 1/2″ card.  Stampin’ Up! thought of everything and also included a “reverse punch” on each board.  For the The Gift Bag Punch Board, there is hole punch for the ribbon and with the Envelope Punch Board you can round the corners of the envelope.  

One of my favorite stamp sets returning in the catalog this year is the Coffee Cafe.  The matching Coffee Cups Framelits coordinate beautifully with the stamp set.  As you can see the large cup is the perfect size to fit on an envelope.  If you want to do something nice for a teacher, I guarantee that a gift card to their favorite coffee or tea shop will always make their smile light up their face and beam out their eyes.

I would be thrilled to get this …. but I’m not a Teacher persay but I did teach Sunday School Class and as a mother and grandmother the teaching never stops ….and in my case neither does the learning lol. Happy Day to you no Happy Life to you bye.❤
