Playing with Poinsettia Place
I fell in love with the whole Poinsettia Place Suite. I had a great time coloring and building these poinsettias with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle. With this card I used the Real Red Blends Combo with a few light touches Pretty Peacock to bring out some of the details. The Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper layered over Real Red Cardstock gave a frosty background to the lovely flower with the Beaded Pearl jewel that adorns the center.
Behind the bloom I found the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper brought out the amazing detail in the flocking of the Plush Poinsettia SP. The Triple Banner Punch and Double-stitched Satin Ribbon in Real Red are a perfect background for the embossed Merry Christmas from the Poinsettia Petal Stamp Set. The finishing touch is to add the Gilded Gems.
Because I had so much fun making the Real Red poinsettia that I decided to try my hand at the white design. I used Blushing Bride for the stamp and Petal Pink Blends Combo for the coloring with touches of Old Olive Blends Combo. The Forever Flourishing Dies add to the Poinsettia Dies in Silver Foil to create the foliage layered over the Parisian Flourish embossed in Very Vanilla with a Very Vanilla base. The Elegant Faceted Gems add a little bling to the banner.
