Saint Nicholas Sends Colorful Christmas Wishes
Saint Nicholas is the perfect bundle to send a colorful holiday wish. I have had several challenges this fall that have kept me from my craft room. However, I could not pass up the chance to sit with my inks to create a watercolor image with this set. After my knee replacement in early November, it has been difficult to sit for very long. Using the watercolor techniques with Stampin Inks and Water Painters was such a wonderfully calming experience, I could almost forget my restlessness.
I used Silver Embossing Powder to stamp the outline on the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. It created a softer line drawning around the watercolor and gave the card a little extra bling. I also stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and then embossed in Silver Embossing Powder. To add a little depth to the words, I traced ‘Christmas Season’ with Cherry Cobbler using the smallest Water Painter.
Silver Embossing makes the inside of the card sparkle. I really love how this card came together. I will be popping on my Facebook page to show you some tips and techniques on how I made this card.
