Dad is the Best!
And he deserves the BEST! Welcome to Team Stamp It’s Father’s Day Blog Hop! I hope you enjoy all the beautiful cards we have put together for you this time.
I wanted to create something that would hit home with my Dad. I love all the wonderful messages that Stampin’ Up! as created for us to use. I hope you enjoy the card I have created for you today. I decided to go monochromatic and use Mossy Meadow throughout the card. I layered Very Vanilla Cardstock, Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and the world map from Going Places DSP. I sponged the edges of the DSP with Mossy Meadow ink to give it an aged look. I love this message from Suite Sayings. I thought it was perfect for my dad. It fit perfectly in the banner from Number of Years which has a matching framelet and best of all they come together in a great bundle. The final touches are the Linen Thread and an Antique Brad.
The inside of the card completes the sentiment. I stamped off twice before stamping the “world” stamp in the center of the inside of the card. The words were stamped at full strength. Often we take so much time designing the front of the card we forget how little touches on the inside can pull it all together.

I’m so glad you are still here! I 
am still looking to increase my followers! I still have this great stamp set to give away. You can’t get it anymore, but it could be yours. I am going to draw a name from all my followers here and on my Periscope. I know that I was going to to be much more active in the past two weeks. However, I’m a teacher and for all my teacher friends out there, you will understand when I say I was put on the “Involuntary Transfer List”. So I have been bogged down with my figuring what I am going to teach next year. Drum roll please… I am going from High School Fashion and Health Classes to 2nd grade. I can’t be more excited. Young teachers out there, I can’t tell you enough, “get certified in as many areas as you can!”

Great card! It was interesting that you printed out the sentiments! I will have to remember that….I have always wondered about printing right on the card itself. I am pretty sure it can be done!
