Welcome to the Team Stamp It Fall Blog Hop!
For me fall means back to school! I am a 21 year veteran of the education system in MA. I love teaching. Like many of my colleagues I have already put in more that 24 hours of work setting up my classroom and teachers aren’t starting till next week. Also like many of my colleagues, I spent the summer taking courses and spending money to outfit my classroom with supplies the school district does not supply. This project is designed to thank teachers for all the continued effort they put in during the summer to prepare for their new students in the fall.
I decorated the Mini Pizza Box with the striking leaf paper from the See a Silhouette DSP. It is the perfect background for an apple of Poppy Parade from the Harvest Hellos stamp set. The sentiment from this same stamp set pops with White Stampin Embossing Powder on Night of Navy cardstock cut from the smallest of the Stitched Nested Labels.
Inside I used the reverse of the See a Silhouette DSP used on the outside to create a gift card pocket, perfect to send some coffee to the teacher that is bright eyed and enthusiastic on the first day. The “WELCOME BACK” stamp comes from Harvest Hellos as well. It is punched out with the Classic Label Punch.
A great benefit of the Mini Pizza Box is that it is food safe grade material on the inside. You can put a little treat in this box and feel confident that you are using a container that is safe. I included some of my favorite chocolate, because what teacher doesn’t want a taste of chocolate at the end of the day. I hope you enjoyed my project. I wish all teachers and students a great start to the school year.
