Mother’s Day in Grace’s Garden
In this time when we are so far apart and wishing that Spring would hurry up and arrive here in the Northeast, I thought that playing with Grace’s Garden Stamp Set and the Garden Gateway Dies was a perfect way to spend a rainy day. Of course I had to break out my Aqua Painter in order to add color to these gorgeous stamps.
I had so much fun with the construction. It was like a challenge to see which way I liked the gate the best. I started with Crumb Cake Cardstock layered with Bird Ballad DSP in a Z fold. Then I went to town coloring the images stamped on the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper.
Strong & Beautiful Stamp set add the most loving words to this card. I just love that stamp set. One thing you might notice is that I used the Window Sheet to keep the gate in place. I used a second gate to make the pop out part of the card on the other side of the Z fold. I hope you enjoy the card.
