Welcome Spring Flowers!
Finally here in the Northeast we are seeing some warm weather and some spring flowers. They are the inspiration for the card I will be giving to my mom on Mothers day in a couple of weeks. I found a couple of sheets left of one of my favorite DSP’s: Naturally Eclectic (which you can still get while supplies last until May 31st.). It provided the perfect background to a simple jar of flowers just for mom. Jar of Love is just what this bouquet says! I love the way the Mini Bow in Powder Pink adds a little bit of texture. It is amazing how many great stamps you find in our collections. “BEST MOM EVER” are two stamps from Apron of Love.
To create this card I did a lot of stamping and using the big shot to make the jar and the bouquet. I stamped the stems in the jar and then I attached the flowers to the back to line up with the stems. After the jar was together I placed it on the card front and marked where I wanted the fronds to be stamped on the DSP. I finished it off with a little Wink of Stella and the smallest Pearl Basic Jewels.
Of course, I love to stamp the inside of the card. Mother’s Flair was perfect for the sentiment on the inside. I love this stamp set. It is retiring by the end of May so you want to get it while you can. I also used medium jar and C
