Painted Harvest, Stitched Nested Label Dies, and Well Written Dies along with See a Silhouette DSP bring summer to life for me.
Summer has to be a favorite time of year for me. It starts with my birthday and all the flowers start to bloom in my garden. Then there are all the gorgeous blue skies by day and velvety skies by night. These wonderful parts of summer that inspired my Summer Lovin’ Blog Hop Card. I hope you enjoy it. The Painted Harvest sunflower and See a Silhouette really bring the feel of summer in the midst of all this rain we have had.
I love the Stamperatus. It made stamping this image so easy. Tip… use the Stampin’ Spots to apply ink to stamps affixed to the
Stamperatus Plates. With the small Stampin’ Spot pads, I was able to ink up only the leaves and let the stem look like it is hidden under the petals. I love the sunflower image in Painted Harvest Stamp Set. I can’t wait for my sunflowers to start blooming. The new Stitched Nested Label Dies are a beautiful way to frame such a lovely image.
Well Written Dies are a great way to make your message pop. There are so many great words in that die set. The Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody really stand out against the rich background of the See a Sillhouette DSP. The Burlap Ribbon adds a touch of summer garden feel.
Of course a card is not complete without the touches on the inside. This card is no different. I used all the stamps in the sunflower in different levels of ink. I stamped off twice for the larger part of the flower, once for the center, and direct stamp for the inner flower ring. The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday Stamps Set, stamped in soft suede.
